Cost Of Study & Living
Tuition fees:
Tuition fees in public institutions range from €6,000 - €16,000 (USD 8,000-21,000) depending on the university and course. However, in private universities it can be even higher.
Living Cost:
Total budget of an international student can work out 3500 to 4000 DKK (excludes housing). Note: 1 US dollar is approximately 6 kroner and 1 Krone is divided into 100 ore.
Room in a Students Hall of Residence (Kollegium): DKK 2000-3500/month (utilities usually included). Privately rented room in a house/flat can cost you EURO 270-600/month. Privately rented flat (for a 40-60m2 apartment in major Danish cities) can be EURO 470-940/month
Universities & Institutions
Danish higher education institutions offer more than 500 programs taught in English - all internationally recognized and of high quality. Two of Denmark ’s universities are ranked in the Top 100 of the 2011 QS World University Rankings: University of Copenhagen (52) and Aarhus University (79).
There are over 15 university level institutions of fine and performing arts, design and architecture and about 10 academies of professional higher education in business, design, technology, etc.
